It feels like forever since I posted last!  I feel bad that didn't even post on my birthday 

on Tuesday!!!!  Or on Thanksgiving!  Well anyway, here's what I wore for Thanksgiving:

Movie

Yesterday I went to see the movie Wreck It Ralph.

I thought that it was an overall good movie.  It had sad parts, funny parts and 

an occasional kinda scary part.

Christmas!

Something that I don't understand about my family is how we always start on anything Christmas so early.

Honestly, there is Christmas music playing as I'm typing.  Even my Aunt does it!  (she had her tree up before Thanksgiving last year)

Sock Bun!

I finally got my sock bun to work!

Check it out!

It's so easy but it took me a long time to get!

All you need is a sock that you've cut the toe off of rolled up, bobby pins, and rubber bands.

then you put the sock at the end of your

pony tail, and roll as you add hair to the bun.

CUTE!

Sunday

Hey!  Sorry I never really gave an explanation for Sunday.

I went to church,  to a soccer game, than to two soft ball games.

Then we went to dinner with the family.

I will be at sixth grade camp!  (YAY!)  Well it will be yay if I am put in a cabin with my BFF!
Otherwise, camp could be a lllloooonnnngggg week!

DIY Day

Hey weekend people!  I just came up with this idea for DIY Day!

Here's the fist craft!

What you will need to make our project on DIY Day, (a cute and stylish hair bow) is:

-Fall fabric

-needle & thread

- hot glue

-scissors

- bobby pin

First, fold your fabric to the length and width you want your bow to be

(notice how one end is still folded)

Next, sew the unfolded end so that when you turn it inside out, you have a clean seam

Now, fold or scrunch your loop into a bow shape

Sew through the scrunched area so that you can hold it without it coming apart

Take a piece of your scrap fabric and start hot gluing it to the bow by wrapping it around while putting down small dots of glue.

After you have wrapped at least once around your bow, slide your bobby pin onto the scrap

(make sure the top of the pin is put to the bottom of the bow)

Glue the bobby pin to the bow.

If you followed these directions right, it should turn out something like this

Settling for Wavy

One word: Braids.

Braids are my only success.  Braids made my hair wavy like so:

Notice how it's like still dark out?  That's because that picture was 

taken this morning at about 6:45.  About half an hour after I woke up.

No curls

So the headband curling didn't work for me,

but if you have short or thin hair, I bet it would work great!  Sorry I said that I would show you 

my results the next day!  I just got caught up with stuff!  Ever happen to you?

Curly Part 2

So curly?  My friend Mary Pat posted this awesome video on how to get curly hair!

I'm totally trying this tonight!  I'll tell you how it works out tomorrow!

Quest for Curly

  I don't exactly know how it happened, I just somehow, this past summer, started wanting curly hair.  I don't                                                          know why, it may be because my best friend has the most perfectly curly hair, but I just started wanting curly hair. Over the summer I actually was like begging for a perm!  My Mom talked me out of it though by saying it wold be harder to do your hair and brush it and stuff like that.  So no curly hair for me.  But now, I want for just like a day!  A day! And since my hair is too long and thick for a curling iron, my only choice left is curlers. And if you've ever slept in curlers before, it's the last thing you want to do again!  I've been searching  Pinterest far and wide now for a way to get curly hair.  I tried french braiding it wet twice, and last night I slept in two uncomfortable twisted buns.  NEITHER WAYS WORKED!!!  Well maybe they worked for 5 minutes before they were completely dry, but other than that zero curls!  If you know any other ways to get curly hair, PLEASE TELL ME!  I'll still be looking, but a comment would be faster than looking at every google result.

New Doo

Hey everyone!  Cherishing those last couple days until school starts up again?  Me too.  Speaking of it, going back to school is always a great chance to freshen up your look or style.  Whether it's upping your wardrobe, or a simple thing like choosing the polka dot backpack over the plaid one.  My way of freshening my look is my new hairstyle.

Just a simple layering in the front can really change a person's style.

So I've been reading this book. (even though I've already finished it in like, 4 days) This amazing, incredible, mysterious book.  If you like those three adjectives in a book, then maybe you should read this book:
