One Fantastic Book

I know it's been practically FOREVER since my last post, but we're going to try to ignore the fact that I'm the WORST BLOGGER EVER(!) and I'm going to share my thoughts about a book I recently finished: 13 Gifts.  I thought this book was fantastic, and even though I'm reading the sequel out of order.  I'm also very excited to read the first one which fortunately, has been assigned to read in my friend's and I's small book club.

 

 

Recpie of the Week

So since I'm trying to become a much more active blogger, I thought I would pick something to do a post on every week.  So now, on every Thursday, I will try my very best to post a recipe of something I love.  Well, without any further ado, This week's recipe:

 

Sugar Plums

ingredients: marshmallows, milk, & Jell-O powder

tools needed: spoon, pie tin/bowl, cookie sheet covered with waxed paper & toothpicks

 

Step One- Pour the milk in your pie tin and insert a toothpick to each marshmallows.  Then one by one, submerge a marshmallow in the tin with milk.  This is where you could use your spoon.

 

Step Two- Have the Jell-O powder in another pie tin.  Roll the wet marshmallows in the Jell-O powder.  Cover the marshmallows as best as you can.

 

Step Three- Place the now completed sugar plums (with the toothpicks still in them) onto the cookie sheet covered with waxed paper to dry.  After the sugar plums are completely dry, you may remove the toothpicks and enjoy your treat!

Spring Time!

I don't care what the calendar says, I want it to be spring!  I miss the warm weather and blue skies.  I mean be honest, who likes cold and wet days inside over sunny, warm days outside.  My skin is begging for Vitamin D.  Today was a nice 50 degree day, but I want more!  Maybe the groundhog's prediction can come sooner than expected!

Long Time no See

It feels like forever since I posted last!  I feel bad that didn't even post on my birthday 

on Tuesday!!!!  Or on Thanksgiving!  Well anyway, here's what I wore for Thanksgiving:
